As Google, Tesla, Uber and others test out their self driving cars in the real world, and we hear stories of self driving trucks coming to a long haul route near you, another company, Comma.ai, is helping real people make their own autonomous vehicles. We talk to Brevan Jorgenson, a student at the University of Nebraska Omaha, about what drove him to use the DIY tech to convert his Honda into a self-driving car. Brevan is actually not only a student, but also a consultant for the college. He also gives us the specs on how to use the Comma.ai tech (Comma Neo), and his own helpful tips as he went through the process.
